During the pandemic, Coronavirus, we have to be isolated and stay in our respective homes. But the question that we all are struggling to answer is “What to do during coronavirus quarantine and while self isolating in my home?” Don’t worry people, we have a few suggestions on things to do while you are in quarantine:
Taking care of yourself:

Self-Care: Invest your time in pampering yourself! You could do this by taking care of your skin, or even taking long baths by just sitting in your bath tub for long hours with some scented candles and maybe giving yourself long pedicures at home. In short, giving your body and mind some love and care that it’s being craving!
Exercise: In such hard times, it’s very easy to neglect your physical health with the closure of gyms all across the globe, you just don’t know what to do? But, here are a few suggestions to keep your body active: try zumba, yoga or even running alone in your parks, streets or even jogging on the spot for 30 minutes straight!


Sleep: Make sure you give your body the 7- 8 hours of sleep that it requires. You might never get this golden opportunity again. But a bonus would be to take afternoon naps! Disclaimer: You might never get to take afternoon naps again so give it a shot!
Working on yourself in the long run:

New Hobby: Pick up something that you have been wanting to learn but couldn’t before. Let me tell you now is the BEST time! This is the time to explore new things and let your creative juices going. You could learn how to cook and if you already know how to cook then why not try some experimental cooking. You could try baking, painting,dancing, singing, learning a new language or even a new form of exercising.

Taking care of things in your life:

Organize your surroundings: Declutter, organize or even give a makeover to your closet, bedroom, kitchen or even your entire house! So that during your quarantine; your physical space gets to breathe a little more and once the quarantine is over, you will be organized like never before! This is a win-win situation.

Time to gain knowledge:

Read: Invest your time in reading your much awaited books. Read anything that interests you whether it be nonfiction or fiction, dive into the world of books and see the magic! You can also catch up on some research papers and articles of your choice.

Making use of things we already have at hand:

Technology to the rescue: Spend time with your family members, your friends using facetime, video calling, DMs, etc. We can’t party at home but we can definitely party virtually!


Digital content: Last but not least, I’m sure you would have already done this but stating the obvious: watch documentaries, movies, series you have been planning on watching but couldn’t take out the time!

This is a once in a lifetime golden opportunity that you have got to focus on yourself and take care of yourself, your loved one’s and your surroundings. Celebrate that you have got a break from your busy and hectic work life! You might never get this much time at hand again, so enjoy this time to the fullest.
